Another adventure

Thursday night, 11/19/2009, I dislocated my right shoulder. As you may recall this shoulder was operated in April 2008. It had held up wonderfully and I had a year and a half of a great shoulder but that saga has now ended. We're going to wait the weekend to see if it tightens up or dislocates again before deciding on Monday what the next step should be. I am really nervous and freaked out right now. Dustin, my wonderful and amazing boyfriend, stayed with me in the ER Thursday night and dealt with me being super stressed out and I believe throwing my phone on the floor twice. I was really drugged and just not myself that night. Dustin also drove me to Vail (after a detour to the apple store to fix a broken screen from throwing it around) and we slept last night for the first time since Wednesday night. We were exhausted to say the least.

My parents are in the process of sailing the boat from Norfolk to NC this weekend so it's been hard trying to keep them in the loop but I guess it's good practice for the next 3 years. My brother David is being amazing and flying in today from D.C. to help out since Dustin has to go to work tonight and I have a lot of decisions to make in the next 72 hours. My mom is going to try to fly in Monday but we're not sure if she can make it or not.

Right now I'm feeling really scared and sore. A little hung over feeling from all the narcotics pumped into my system. I'm amused cause the only good vein they could find was a foot vein and so I had my IV in my left foot yesterday. I don't know why that amuses me so don't ask.

It's been difficult to type with one arm in a sling so I'm going to go lay down again for a little bit.

I will update again when I know more or if anything changes.
